Biography

Andrea was born in Milan in 1998, but spent his childhood in the nature and woods of Varese and in his maternal grandparents' house in the city of Saronno. Growing up he showed a great passion for art, cinema and music, but above all above painting like his grandfather Angelo, at the age of 4 he learned to read with Marvel e DC comics from his father's collection. Being a very lively child, to let him vent his mother decided to enroll him in various sports and activities such as: Soccer, Tennis, Skating, Skiing, Judo e Swimming which created a strong bond between him and the water element. At school he felt not very comfortable with teachers and classmates, he always had his head in a completely different direction, at the age of 15 he decided to enroll in the Angelo Frattini Art School in Varese. The first year was traumatic for him; he was not used to traveling long distances by train and staying up late at night to study, this will create in him the habit of working on projects especially late at night.

A New Beginning

After the period of middle school and high school which proved to be a period of changes but also of disappointments not only from a scholastic point of view but also from a human point of view, at the end of the 5th year of high school Bruce found himself displaced since he he had been admitted to none of the faculties he had tried; one day, however, he received a scholarship from a private university and decided to try; only then did he realize that he could not bear the expenses of that school in addition to the exorbitant tuition impossible to pay with his savings; if the exams were not passed, they had to be paid every time, and so he found himself having to give up and be in disarray again, in the meantime he had tried and re-attempted the entrance tests of the various universities and in any case he had not managed to enter any of them . But one day passing near China Town in Milan he discovered a Visual Design school open to all that also gave the most deserving students the opportunity to do an internship. There he met Giancarlo Sotelo e Matteo Gaffuri with which he founded the Pozzengers the team was joined later by Alessandro Caione, Patrick Miracola, Martino Milani e Alessandro Pescara and also some Pozzists like: Martina Castiglieri, Carlotta Corradelli, Adriana Lopez, Marina Paonni e Jenna Ortega.

Career

After high school he decided to study Visual Design in Milan, and during his studies he designed an ADV campaign for Jägermeister and RedBull, this specific project brought him into contact with the world of 3D modeling and rendering, which fascinated him a lot...he had always been fascinated by the world of cinema and VFX. But unfortunately his plans were too ambitious, so much so that he found that his laptop was not capable of rendering that kind of thing, so he decided to get a job as a lifeguard at the swimming pool to improve his equipment and to be able to afford program licensing costs. One day he was complaining about the problems of the Hollywood film industry with two of his friends: Alessandro Pescara e Alessandro Caione; who during the conversation jokingly said to him: "eh, then you do it better" they didn't think he would take this very seriously, a few weeks later he decided to recreate one of the films he was most attached to...The Iron Giant animated film directed by Brad Bird 1999...Unfortunately he's still working on it. Where is he at the moment? ... who knows he will probably be out there in the world looking for his way, or doing something very Pozzoso, trying to leave his mark.

Oder Projects

In 2020 during the epidemic of Cornonavirus he decided to found Momentum a way to help young creatives for free, giving them advice based on the personal experiences of the team (unfortunately the project stopped in 2021). He is currently working as Visual Designer at a communication agency...for now because Bruce has big plans for the future..

Acting Career

His first approach with Acting was a Musical inspired by the Harry Potter saga realized by theater company: Gabry's Boys, two of his close friends Marco and Giorgio introduce and convince him to partecipate at the audition, where he was casted by the director Sabrina for the role of Rubeus Hagrid; for this role Andrea practice a lot on the tune of voice, trying to simulates Hagrid voice.

Mary Pozzins

In 2018 it was decided to take as subject a Disney classic as Mary Pozzins, initially Bruce was chosen to be the chimney sweep, but then one day the director saw him dancing with a with one of his friend (Giorgio who was choosen to play the role of Mr. Dawes Jr.) thought it would be fun to see them both on stage, thus entrusting Bruce with the role of Mr. Dawes Sr.

Voltafavole

In 2019, however, it was the turn of the "Voltafavole" a completely new story that drew from classic fairy tales by modifying the story and joining them together, in this case Bruce was asked to interpret the "Magic Mirror", in this case the approach to the character was very different since it was more of an object than a living being; so to give tone to the character it was decided to take inspiration from French mimes and their mimicry. Also that same year Gabry's Boys had the opportunity to perform on stage at "Giuditta Pasta Theatre". The show was a success but unfortunately this was their last performance, after the events of the Covid 19 the company in 2020 disbanded but maybe one day they will come back with a new show or maybe they are preparing one right now...
